I grabbed the Fujifilm W3 3D point-and-shoot from work and had some fun with it this weekend. Click the pictures to see the action.

My friend Justin was having a joint birthday party with some of his friends, and they rented a moon bounce. It was so rad.

Unfortunately, there’s no good way to show 3D photos on a traditional display; upon doing some research, however, I discovered the wonders of “wiggle 3d”. Directions are basically as follows: take the left and right image from the 3d photo, separate them, and then make a GIF animation alternating between the left and right frame every 0.20 seconds. It gives the illusion of depth, but seems to work well only with photos where there’s background scenery.
